Kim Kotora is director of critical care at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in University Circle, Cleveland. To no credit but her own and the leadership at UH, Kim has moved up the ranks fairly quickly, becoming head nurse of the medical intensive care unit, then of all the intensive care units, to now director of critical care, most recently. Her commitment to lead, however, doesn't lessen her degree of compassion but rather intensifies her deep sense of responsibility to her patients and their families. She loves working in University Circle for its contrast of energy on Euclid Avenue and serenity in its parks and gardens.
